Explanation

The fitness company recently installed Microsoft Great Plains for their business system. The company wanted to track their incoming and outgoing inventory without filling out paperwork. This fitness company didn't have wireless connectivity nor handheld devices in their warehouses.

Solution

The solution that we provided this company with was the Panatrack Panatracker-GP© software package with a Symbol WS-2000 wireless switch system. This solution enabled the company to do receiving, shipping, printing labels, sales order fulfillment, and serial tracking. Great Plains would instantly be updated via the Microsoft e-Connect component.

Responsibilities

During this project, Brent Blawat was responsible for conducting the site survey, setting up the IIS 6.0 server, setting up Microsoft e-Connect demo environment, and configuring the handhelds and wireless switching system.
